Side-folding grilles and closures are the go-to solution for wide commercial openings where overhead space isn't available. The panels slide laterally on a top-mounted track and fold into a compact side pocket — no floor track, no ceiling intrusion, no tripping hazards.
Available in see-through grille, solid panel, and glass-panel configurations. Curved tracks accommodate S-curves, 90° corners, and continuous arcs — ideal for malls, airports, concourses, and non-linear storefronts.

How Side-Folding Grilles Work
Side-folding closures operate on a fundamentally different principle than roll-up shutters — they slide horizontally instead of rolling vertically.
Top-Mounted Track
A heavy-duty aluminum or steel track is mounted along the top of the opening. The closure panels hang from roller carriers that glide along this track. No floor track is needed — the floor remains completely flush and unobstructed.
Folding Panels
The closure consists of individual panels connected by hinges. When opened, the panels fold accordion-style into a compact stack in a side pocket. When closed, the panels extend across the full width of the opening.
Locking System
Multi-point locking mechanisms secure the closure at top, bottom, and intermediate points. Some models include key-operated locks, padlock provisions, or integration with building security systems.
Curved Track Options
Custom-manufactured curved tracks follow any floor plan — S-curves, 90° corners, U-shapes, or continuous arcs. The panels navigate curves smoothly, making these ideal for non-linear retail environments.

Our Installation Process

Engineering & Fabrication
The system is engineered to your exact track layout and opening dimensions. Tracks are custom-manufactured for curves. Typical lead time is 4–8 weeks.
Professional Installation
Our crew installs the track, hangs the panels, calibrates the roller carriers, and installs all locking hardware. Most installations are completed in 1–2 days.
Walkthrough & Warranty
