Retractable awnings extend from a wall-mounted cassette to provide instant shade over patios, decks, and outdoor dining areas. When retracted, the arms fold back and the fabric rolls neatly into the housing — leaving your space fully open and your building's exterior clean.
Motorized systems operate via remote control or wall switch. Optional wind sensors can be programmed to retract the awning automatically at a set wind threshold.

How Retractable Awnings Work
Retractable awnings use a folding-arm mechanism to extend and retract shade fabric from a wall-mounted cassette.
Cassette Housing
The awning fabric and folding arms retract into a sleek, sealed cassette mounted on the wall above the area you want shaded. When closed, the fabric and arms sit enclosed inside the cassette.
Folding Arms
Spring-tensioned or gas-piston folding arms extend outward from the cassette, pulling the fabric taut across the desired shade area. The arms fold neatly back into the cassette when retracted.
Fabric Canopy
Outdoor awning fabric available in hundreds of colours and patterns. UV and fade ratings per the manufacturer's fabric specifications.
Motor & Sensors
A tubular motor extends and retracts the awning at the touch of a button. Optional wind and sun sensors can be programmed to retract or extend the awning automatically.
