Each screen is custom-measured to your opening and installed with sealed side tracks and a weighted bottom bar. Motorized systems operate via remote or wall switch.

How Retractable Screens Work
A retractable privacy screen consists of a housing, roller barrel, screen fabric, side guides, and bottom bar. Here's how each component works.
Housing & Roller
A compact aluminum housing mounts above the opening. Inside, the screen fabric wraps around a spring-tensioned or motorized roller barrel. When retracted, the screen is completely hidden inside the housing.
Screen Fabric
High-density mesh fabric provides shade and insect screening while still allowing airflow and outward visibility. UV and wind specifications vary by fabric — see the manufacturer's fabric data.
Side Guides & Tracks
Extruded aluminum tracks on each side hold the fabric edges in a closed channel, so there is no open gap along the sides.
Weighted Bottom Bar
A heavy-gauge aluminum bottom bar weights the screen at the base. Some models include a bottom-bar locking mechanism.
